Welcome to practical guitar lessons. A music instructor can give you enough information in the first lesson to last you many years of practice. However, you may feel uncomfortable saying 'Thanks, dude, see ya" and saving yourself the weekly lesson fees. Unless you are quite the genius, the total sum of payments for guitar lessons will grow more quickly than the sum of knowledge in your head (as well as the ability to use that knowledge). On this site you can skip the weekly payments, and as the weeks pass by while you practice your fingers to the bone, you'll find that you are getting better and your wallet will remain stuffed with money.
